very proud to offer several services for our patients and
their family members that are not available at other
health centers in this region.
Intensive
Diabetes Program
Provides an exceptional, focused
treatment plan for diabetics and their families. The
focus is aimed at correcting poor control of diabetes
before, during and after serious complications occur.
Diabetic Support Classes
Provided by EGHC and Emanuel County
Extension Service. Classes are held on the second
Tuesday of each month from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm at East
Georgia Healthcare Center in Swainsboro. The class
is free and everyone is welcome to
attend.
Referrals and Specialty Care
East Georgia Healthcare Center is a
general practice clinic. Our providers treat most
common illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
Sometimes however, you or a member of your family may need
care from a physician who specializes in a particular area
of medicine. In this case, a referral will be made.
This center is part of a referral system involving several
local and regional medical centers, hospitals and
physicians.
